Job Description

Join our dedicated team in providing high-quality care in the Behavioral Health Unit. You will work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to support and care for adult patients facing a variety of mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Behavioral Health setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and document observations accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Support patients and families through education and compassion during their treatment journey.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Behavioral Health Unit or psychiatric setting.
• Active and unrestricted RN license in Iowa.
• Iowa SING background check clearance (criminal and child abuse).
• Mandatory reporter certification for both child and adult services.
• 10-panel drug test, including opiates.
• Recent titers for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB within the last 12 months.
