Interventional Radiology Technician

Day shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Candidates with experience in Cath/EP are preferred, as there may be floating requirements within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to angiography, stent placements, and biopsies.
• Maintain sterile field and assist the physician as needed in the operating room.
• Participate in patient positioning and preparation for procedures.
• Perform equipment setup and room circulation duties.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of experience in interventional radiology; 2 years preferred.
• Current ARRT certification and Florida state license are mandatory.
• AHA ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• RCIS certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to float to sister facilities as required.
