Job Description

The Radiology Technologist will provide optimal patient care through the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients at all ages, ensuring their safety and comfort during imaging procedures. This role requires competency in operating imaging equipment and executing physicians' orders for diagnostic and therapeutic exams while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and fluoroscopic radiographic procedures utilizing established radiographic principles.
• Verify and execute physician orders for imaging studies while ensuring patient preparation and safety.
• Consult with radiologists regarding imaging techniques and contrast media as necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation, including medical charting and informed consent.
• Contribute to departmental quality improvement studies and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Assist with patient flow and collaborate with other modalities as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical radiology experience required.
• Current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification (R) required upon hire.
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography is required.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
