Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an inpatient rehabilitation position, focusing on the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced significant injuries or illnesses. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in inpatient rehabilitation and must possess a valid SLP license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Implement therapy interventions to support patients' recovery in an inpatient setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Schedule

The schedule for this role is primarily Monday through Friday, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend shifts for compensation during the week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid SLP license.
• Previous inpatient rehabilitation experience is required.
• Experience with CVA and neurological rehabilitation is preferred.
