Monday through Friday with rotating weekends preferred but flexible.

Job Description

The Speech Therapist will assist on both acute care and inpatient rehab units. The position operates within a level 1 trauma facility that also encompasses a comprehensive stroke center and a 26-bed rehab unit. As part of a team, the Speech Therapist will work with a diverse patient population and engage in a variety of therapeutic interventions to support recovery and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bedside swallow evaluations, with video evaluations preferred.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Provide patient support and education regarding communication and swallowing.
• Document patient progress and outcomes using the TIMS documentation system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a licensed Speech Therapist in the state of Missouri.
• Experience in both acute care and inpatient rehab settings is preferred.
