Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acute care nursing and be dedicated to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the rehabilitation unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist patients with rehabilitation exercises and daily activities.
• Document patient care and progress using Meditech EHR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care experience required.
• Must hold a valid RN license in Iowa.
• BLS certification is required.
• Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult required.
• Clear background checks and drug test (10-panel screening including opiates).
• Current titers for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB.
