Physical Therapist - Rehabilitation Hospital

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation facility. The ideal candidate will provide customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of patients recovering from various conditions including stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The focus will be on maximizing health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical abilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with patients' goals and capabilities.
• Provide direct therapy interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote effective patient care and rehabilitation strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in an acute rehabilitation setting preferred, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles and techniques.

Schedule

This position offers a shift from 06:30 to 19:00.
