Surgical Technician - CVOR Shift Position

Schedule

Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday with on-call after hours and weekends.

Job Description

The Surgical Technician will be responsible for accomplishing vein procurement using the Maquet Hemopro 2 system in the CVOR. Candidates must be competent and independent in vein harvesting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform vein harvesting procedures autonomously.
• Assist in open-heart surgeries, including CABG, valve procedures, and TAVR standby.
• Collaborate with a team of 15 staff members within the CVOR unit.
• Participate in emergency open-heart procedures as required.
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certified.
• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) license required.
• Must have vein harvesting experience.
