Cath Lab Technician

Schedule

This position operates on a schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotating weekends and call duties.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures, maintaining cath lab equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. This role requires critical thinking and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac catheterizations and other interventional procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile environments and equipment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and provide care during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Candidates must have relevant certification and experience in catheterization lab procedures. Experience with specific equipment used in cath labs and a commitment to patient care are essential.
