Job Description

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for delivering quality therapy services under the supervision of the Therapy Supervisor and Manager. This role involves providing comprehensive occupational therapy to patients across various age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The therapist will conduct evaluations, create treatment plans, and assist in community reintegration and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their needs and capabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
• Provide direct patient care and document progress in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in program development and outcome measurements.
• Float between facilities as needed based on patient census and departmental needs.
• Participate in the clinical supervision of therapy students and support staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience required.
• Valid Occupational Therapy License in Nevada or provisional license acceptable until the full license is obtained.
• AHA BLS and CPR certification required upon hire.
