Job Description

The Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician is responsible for providing high-quality care in the cardiac catheterization lab. This role involves assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures under the supervision of qualified medical staff. The technician will work alongside a team to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, as well as maintaining equipment and supplies necessary for the lab's operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare and maintain equipment in the catheterization lab.
• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
• Provide support to patients and their families throughout the process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Technical certification in cardiac catheterization or related field.
• Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
