Job Description

Join a dedicated team in a 15-bed LDRP unit that provides comprehensive care through all stages of childbirth. You will be responsible for delivering quality healthcare to residents in northeast Nevada, while enjoying the vibrant community and stunning outdoor activities Elko has to offer.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Triage, Postpartum, and Nursery
• Perform assessments and monitor patients during antepartum and intrapartum stages
• Administer medications and manage patient care before, during, and after delivery
• Conduct non-stress tests and manage patients with pre-eclampsia and other complications
• Assist with newborn care and educate new parents

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license
• 2+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery and postpartum care
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring
• Additional skills: Management of hemorrhages, fetal monitoring and interventions
