Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide optimal patient care utilizing their knowledge and skills within the framework of the nursing process. This role is accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care, providing comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families/caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and planning of care.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions for diverse patient populations.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize clinical judgment to diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
• Demonstrate competency in critical care procedures and patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of IMC/Stepdown experience required; Medical/Neuro ICU experience preferred.
• Experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, art lines, neuro-stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach management is necessary.
• NV RN license required prior to start.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Must pass an ECG/Telemetry exam.
