Job Description

The MRI Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic MRI scans, assisting radiologists and referring physicians during procedures, and providing exceptional patient care while representing the purpose of the healthcare facility. The incumbent will apply technical skills and advanced physics to operate MRI scanners effectively and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic MRI scans in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist radiologists and physicians with MRI procedures.
• Ensure patient care and safety throughout imaging procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use of various MRI scanning equipment.
• Maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Respond effectively to simultaneous requests and demands under pressure.
• Perform additional job duties related to imaging as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience.
• ARRT certification in MRI is required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Experience with either GE or Philips scanners is preferred.
