Job Description

The Registered Nurse provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the nursing process. This role is accountable for individualized patient outcomes and offers comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
• Provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Ensure optimal safety and quality standards are met.
• Engage families as part of the nursing assessment and planning process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years Med Surg/Tele experience required.
• Nevada RN license is required prior to start.
• Candidates must hold BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam, including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips.
