Job Description

Join a dedicated team at a facility that strives to provide quality healthcare to Northeast Nevada residents. As a Registered Nurse in the Surgery unit, you will play a critical role in providing care to patients in various surgical specialties including ENT, General, Orthopedic, GYN, OB, and Ophthalmology.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative, post-operative, and PACU nursing care.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as needed.
• Support patients and families through the surgical process with education and support.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license with required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute hospital settings, preferably in surgery.
• Experience in Pre-op, PACU, and Phase II nursing is strongly preferred.
• IV skills and familiarity with EHR systems.
