7 PM to 7 AM, with weekend shifts required (2 shifts per month).

Job Description

The Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care within a 36-bed unit, collaborating with a diverse team to deliver exceptional patient care. The RN will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 6:1, utilizing advanced medical equipment and following facility protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies using Alaris pumps and wound vacs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the EMR system (Meditech).
• Engage in patient and family education on health care processes and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Missouri.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Flexibility in scheduling is preferred.
