Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in Ottumwa, IA. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care and collaborate with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that emphasizes individualized care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Document patient care efficiently in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa.
• Must have a current background check, including criminal and child abuse checks.
• Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult).
• 10-panel drug test clearance required.
• Recent immunization titers (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB) must be within the last 12 months.
• One year of nursing experience, including travel experience, is preferred.
