Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide full-time outpatient and inpatient care. Responsibilities will include treating various patient age ranges and diagnoses within the scope of practice in Alaska. Duties may extend to home visits, village travel, and close collaboration with medical providers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong didactic skills and incorporate evidence-based medicine into patient care plans, while maintaining professional conduct and respect for cultural diversity.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality occupational therapy care to patients of all ages.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Modify patient care plans considering age-specific and patient-specific factors.
• Engage in home visits and collaborate effectively with medical staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and correspondence regarding patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Occupational Therapy.
• License in good standing in Alaska or another state and awaiting licensure in Alaska.
• Current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Current BLS certification.
