Staff Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients ranging from ages 10 to 100, including orthopedic and neurological cases. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective documentation abilities, and a commitment to achieving positive patient outcomes. Candidates must exhibit high moral and professional standards and strive for continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Provide 1-on-1 care in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Utilize Epic for documentation and patient management.
• Occasionally float to inpatient settings as needed.
• Supervise and develop assistants involved in patient care.
• Collaborate with a healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 36-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the need for evening hours. We are flexible with scheduling, offering options for 3x12s, 4x10s, or variable 8-hour shifts. There are no weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Physical Therapist license.
• Strong customer service and clinical skills.
• Time management and teamwork skills are essential.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
