Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapy team delivers treatment and diagnostic patient care services to both critical and non-critical patients across all age groups. Utilizing evidence-based techniques related to the cardiopulmonary system, our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care to diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and perform diagnostic tests as per hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions to ensure the effectiveness of treatment.
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory care techniques and technologies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC-RRT) required.
• Current state of Oregon Respiratory Care License required.
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
• Two (2) years of clinical experience in Respiratory Care preferred.
• ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required for PCH Respiratory Therapy.

Schedule

Varies, with every other weekend required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
