Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP)

Job Description

The LDRP team provides high-quality labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care in a family-centered environment. Our team consists of highly trained nurses and medical staff committed to a medically safe atmosphere for both mothers and infants. All sites are also trained in GYN surgical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, and recovery stages.
• Assist in postpartum and newborn care, ensuring safety and comfort for mothers and infants.
• Monitor fetal health and respond to any complications during labor.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care.
• Document all patient interactions and interventions thoroughly and accurately.

Schedule

This position is for day shifts from 0645 to 1915 and requires working every other weekend.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered RN license in Oregon.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification is required.
• NRP and STABLE certifications are preferred.
• Basic Fetal Monitoring skills are required.
• Previous experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred.
