Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Job Description

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides direct care or influences care for acutely/critically ill patients who are at high risk for actual or potential life-threatening health problems. The ICU delivers care through advanced knowledge and experience in a setting that provides intensive monitoring, assessments, and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients.
• Conduct intensive monitoring and assessments.
• Implement advanced medical interventions and protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS required.
• AHA ACLS and TNCC required for GSR ICU-CCU; PALS preferred.
• Previous ICU experience preferred.
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing.
