Full-time, 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts), includes every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will actively participate in the healthcare team by providing direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians. This role requires maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu and collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team to contribute to each patient's individual treatment plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care, ensuring safety and therapeutic support.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to develop, implement, and document treatment plans.
• Utilize critical thinking to assess situations and make informed decisions regarding patient care.
• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships while respecting professional boundaries.
• Document patient care activities using Electronic Medical Records effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the State of Massachusetts; BSN preferred.
• One year of inpatient psychiatric experience required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention preferred.
