Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights Shift

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate, direct and indirect patient care, while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Additionally, the RN will be responsible for data entry for billing purposes and logging of case data into the digital archive of the department. This role may also support staffing needs in the Progressive Care Unit and ED Boarders as needed.

Schedule

This position is scheduled for nights from 1900 to 0730, with occasional weekends required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN Licensure required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent is necessary due to College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing.
• Recent acute care experience required (ED, PCU, ICU).

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
