Acute Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Night/Day Shift

Job Description

The Acute Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential nursing care for patients during scheduled shifts. The CNA works within a structured healthcare environment, adhering to established policies and procedures. This role requires a thorough understanding of patient care for various age groups, and the CNA will operate under the supervision of professional nursing staff, primarily on Med/Surg units.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing patient care under the supervision of nursing staff.
• Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure comfort.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing staff.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.

Schedule

This position requires adherence to a rotating schedule that includes night and day shifts with a total of 12-hour shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• Knowledge of patient care techniques and protocols.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
