Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Description

The Emergency Department provides critical care for patients with a variety of needs, ranging from non-critical to emergent medical conditions. Our team is dedicated to providing urgent mental health care and is equipped to handle both cardiac and trauma patients, including children. All patients are welcome, whether they walk in or arrive via emergency transport.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergent and urgent patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required.
• CEN certification preferred.

Schedule

This role requires varied shifts, including availability every other weekend.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
