Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) - Days

Job Description

This position is primarily responsible for working as a clinic RN, maintaining clinic flow for patients and providers. This role serves as nursing coverage in the clinic, assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations, phone calls, treatments, and procedures as performed within a clinic setting under the direction of the provider, all while adhering to the scope of the professional license.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments.
• Maintain clinic flow ensuring efficiency for patients and providers.
• Perform nursing duties under the direction of the provider.
• Manage patient phone calls and provide necessary information.
• Adhere to the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license in the state of Iowa.
• 3 years of clinical experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting preferred.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS certification required (must be certified within three months of hire).
