This position primarily involves night shifts, with agency staffing scheduled for every other weekend. The manager is open to discussing holiday requests.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work primarily in the surgical department, with some medical overlap based on bed availability to meet patient needs. The floor consists of 35 private patient rooms with two nurses' stations, ensuring a supportive environment for both staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a surgical setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with a healthcare team to assess and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 during night shifts.
• Coordinate with patient care technicians for optimal patient support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Qualified candidates must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
