Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg - Night Shift

Schedule

3 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our Med/Surg team. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and community-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in Med/Surg.
• Triage and prioritize patients based on clinical and psychological needs.
• Perform assessments and reassessments as conditions change.
• Administer medications and manage IVs and central lines.
• Monitor and interpret labs, diagnostics, and clinical indicators.
• Communicate clearly with providers and interdisciplinary team members.
• Document care accurately and in compliance with standards.
• Educate and support patients and families.
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned, supervising LPNs and Nursing Assistants.
• Promote safety, teamwork, and quality patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Illinois RN license (or eligibility).
• BLS and ACLS preferred (or willing to obtain within 6 months).
• Emergency Department or Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, community-focused care.
