Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated OR Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a current state licensure and demonstrate strong clinical skills in an acute care setting. This role does not require floating between units or on-call duties, focusing instead on providing personalized patient care within the operating room environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care in the operating room under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Implement treatment plans and utilize rehabilitation techniques to support patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Document patient care and rehabilitation activities accurately in the electronic health record system (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care or a similar setting preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system required.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient care procedures.
