Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (08:00 - 16:30) from Monday to Friday.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing comprehensive rehabilitation care to patients in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate should possess acute care and rehabilitation hospital experience, as well as a strong skillset in lifting and transferring patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and activities.
• Ensure proper lifting and transfer techniques are utilized.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes.
• Document patient progress and update plans of care as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience in a rehabilitation hospital is preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience with manual therapy and dry needling is a plus.
