Physical Therapist - Geriatrics / Neurology / Orthopedics

Schedule

Day shift, 5 days per week from 08:00 AM to 05:30 PM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide quality care in the domains of geriatrics, neurology, and orthopedics. Responsibilities include assessment, development, and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients within a skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in patient evaluation and rehabilitation, focusing on achieving functional goals.

Responsibilities

• Conducting patient assessments and evaluations.
• Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Monitoring patient progress and modifying care plans as necessary.
• Educating patients and families on treatment plans and techniques.
• Utilizing various therapeutic techniques and adaptive devices for rehabilitation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of charge experience required.
• California PT board license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with PointClickCare or similar charting systems is required.
