Pacific Campus, less than 1 mile from Colby Campus.

Job Description

The Outpatient Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is located at a facility dedicated to providing comprehensive maternity services and features a Level II NICU. The SLP will work with pediatric patients to assess and treat a range of speech and language disorders, providing exceptional care through various therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for pediatric patients with speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on assessments.
• Utilize alternative communication devices and augmentative communication strategies.
• Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment strategies and communication techniques.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
• Knowledge of developmental delay diagnoses in pediatric patients.
