CT/X-Ray Tech - Night Shift

Schedule

This position is a night shift role with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 on weekends. The specific schedule is Friday 20:00-08:00, Saturday 20:00-08:00, and Sunday 20:00-08:00.

Job Description

The CT/X-Ray Tech will be responsible for performing imaging procedures for patients in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. The role requires expertise in various imaging techniques, including 3D rendering, preparation and administration of contrast media, and adherence to radiation safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT and X-ray procedures for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques and maintain a high standard of patient care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Document and record imaging results in the electronic charting system (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification: ARRT in CT and Radiography (ARRT R).
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in imaging, with previous charge experience preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in various imaging mechanisms such as 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and venipuncture.
• Familiarity with PACS and Epic charting systems.
