CT Technologist - 4x10 Hour Shift

This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts, Tuesday to Friday from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM.

Job Description

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scans. This position involves working closely with patients and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality imaging and care. The CT Technologist will operate the required imaging equipment, prepare patients for procedures, and maintain compliance with safety protocols. The role also entails managing imaging workflows and collaborating with interdisciplinary support teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on patients as per physician’s orders.
• Administer contrast media and manage venipuncture processes.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
• Maintain imaging equipment and perform routine quality control checks.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals on patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in CT and Radiography.
• Minimum of one year of experience in CT imaging.
• Proficiency in using Epic for charting and patient management.
• Demonstrated skills in various imaging techniques, including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.
