X-Ray Technician

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, including weekend coverage.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will perform a variety of imaging procedures and ensure patient safety standards are met. This role involves working in various settings and interacting with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic imaging examinations using various radiographic techniques.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Maintain safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
• Provide high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for patient care and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Experience with the EPIC charting system is strongly preferred.
