CT/X-Ray Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 08:00 to 20:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our team. The selected candidate will float between units, providing essential imaging services in both the CT and X-Ray departments. This position requires a candidate who is prepared to work weekends and has the skills to manage a variety of imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans and X-rays.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as necessary.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while conducting imaging exams.
• Maintain accurate records and charts using the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in CT and X-Ray technology.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in imaging, preferably in a critical access or trauma center.
• Experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care practices.
