Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Radiology Technician with experience in electrophysiology procedures. The position requires expertise in performing a variety of technical tasks and supporting the electrophysiology lab operations in a short-term acute care setting. The technician will be responsible for patient care and safety while contributing to the team’s comprehensive approach to diagnostic testing and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrophysiology evaluations and procedures, including arrhythmia induction and cardiac ablation.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to proper scrub procedures during invasive procedures.
• Manage equipment and inventory used in the Electrophysiology Lab.
• Conduct fluoroscopy and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Assist in the insertion and management of pacemakers and vascular closure systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Electrophysiology Radiology Technician.
• ARRT Radiology Tech certification and OBMI license are mandatory.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is required.
