X-Ray Technologist

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule from Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in operating X-Ray equipment, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring quality imaging results.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-Ray imaging procedures including but not limited to abdomen, spine, pelvis, and extremities.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and patient comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with medical staff to evaluate images and provide necessary reports.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.
• Comply with all hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in Radiography
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Oregon state licensure
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred
