X-Ray Technician

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures as specified by physicians to assist in diagnosing and treating patients. This role requires rotating shifts, including on-call responsibilities and participation in block scheduling. The technician will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and adhere to all regulations and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-Ray imaging as per physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during the procedure.
• Maintain accurate records and enter patient data into the Epic charting system.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and infection prevention measures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required for specific procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification and state licensure in Oregon.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Skills in various imaging techniques, including abdomen, spine, and extremity imaging.
