CT Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 5x8-Hour (23:00 - 07:00) and Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:00). On-call required for 2-4 days per month with weekend coverage on Saturday and Sunday from 14:00 - 22:30.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing both CT and radiology exams during the night shift, as staffing only permits a single CT Tech due to low exam volumes. The position requires the ability to manage routine CT and radiology-related exams independently, with support available through on-call techs for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT and radiology exams effectively
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required for procedures
• Adhere to isolation precautions and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Start peripheral IVs for contrast administration
• Document findings accurately in the electronic health record using Epic

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT certification required
• Familiarity with GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, or Toshiba systems is essential
