X-Ray Tech - Block Schedule - Day Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

40 hours/week - Thursday and Friday from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM; Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Weekends are required.

Job Description

The X-Ray Tech will perform routine radiology exams and fluoroscopy procedures in both the imaging department and surgical settings. This position will operate portable x-ray and C-arm equipment, ensuring high-quality images and effective patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various imaging procedures including abdomen decubitus, KUB, barium swallows, and more.
• Administer contrast media as necessary for specific exams.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting utilizing the Epic system.
• Participate in on-call duties as required, totaling 2-4 days per month.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Radiology setting.
• ARRT certification required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
• Previous experience with charge duties preferred.
