Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Outpatient Rehabilitation

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift available, with a choice of the following schedules:

• Monday/Wednesday: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM; Tuesday/Thursday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Monday/Wednesday: 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM; Tuesday/Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for our outpatient rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will have experience treating adult patients with neurological speech diagnoses, dysphagia, voice disorders, and cognitive impairments. This role will focus on providing high-quality care to our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and cognitive disorders.
• Implement evidence-based techniques for dysphagia and voice therapy.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and care techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Experience in adult outpatient rehabilitation and neurological speech disorders.
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with EPIC for electronic medical records preferred.
• Availability for floating and weekend shifts as needed.
