Job Description

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality imaging results, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure, and maintaining the quality of the MRI unit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist patients for MRI procedures.
• Operate MRI machinery and ensure quality imaging.
• Maintain equipment and ensure functionality.
• Adhere to safety protocols and patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff for diagnostic evaluations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (AMRIT).
• Preferred Bachelor's or Associates degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RT, RDMS, or CNMT preferred.
• Must be licensed with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI); temporary license acceptable.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.
