Job Description

The CT Technologist participates in various assigned tasks related to Imaging technology and performs diagnostic quality procedures in a safe manner, following guidelines set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Computerized Tomography. The role focuses on outpatient imaging and requires hands-on experience with GE and Toshiba/Canon equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performing high-quality CT scans for outpatient services.
• Administering contrast media as needed.
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintaining accurate patient records through Epic charting.
• Implementing radiation safety protocols.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary support teams as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate from an accredited imaging technology program.
• Licensure by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in radiography.
• Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography.
• Licensure or registration in CT by the OBMI or ARRT.
• Current BLS certification from AHA within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient experience is mandatory.
