CT Technologist Position

Schedule

This is a Mid 4x10-Hour shift position from 14:00 to 00:00. On-call is required for one week of standby call per contract, and weekends are not required.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using GE 64 slice scanners. The ideal candidate must have experience in an acute care facility, specifically within a Level 3 trauma center. Epic charting experience is a hard stop requirement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT imaging procedures and ensure high-quality imaging results.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Administer contrast media as required for specific imaging exams.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent patient care experience in an acute care setting.
• Certification in ARRT CT and current BLS certification required.
• Oregon State OBMI licensure required prior to start.
• Experience with GE Scanners is mandatory.
• Must be capable of performing specific procedures such as biopsies, myelography, and CT arthrography.
