CT Technologist Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Mid 4x10-Hour (14:00 - 00:00)

On-call Required: Yes (One week of standby call per contract)

Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing imaging procedures and operating GE 64 slice scanners in a Level 3 trauma facility. Candidates must possess strong Epic charting experience and have recent direct patient care in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including CT scans of various body parts.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Administer contrast media and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Utilize Epic for patient charting and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with medical staff to interpret imaging results effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active ARRT CT and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of one year of recent acute care experience.
• Documented experience in a Level 3 trauma facility.
• Experience with GE 64 slice scanners is mandatory.
• Epic charting experience is required.
