MRI Technologist - 4x10 Hour Shift

Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI scans and related imaging procedures in a critical access setting. The position involves patient interaction to discuss the procedure and ensure comfort during the imaging process.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans for diagnostic purposes using GE MRI machines.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of MRI equipment and report any issues.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient care.
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record system (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Experience with GE MRI machines is preferred.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Proficiency in the Epic charting system.
