Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Schedule

This position offers a Day 3x12-Hour schedule from 08:00 to 17:30, with a rotation of F/Sat Monday Tuesday and at least three weekend shifts in a four-week rotation, including potential holiday shifts depending on timing.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist is responsible for patient evaluation, developing treatment plans, and executing therapy interventions to support patient recovery in an acute care setting. This role requires collaboration within an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic EMR, with Epic experience preferred.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and expectations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Education: BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Oregon or be license eligible.
• Experience in Acute Care is preferred.
• Electronic EMR experience is mandatory; Epic is preferred.
